Ageing behaviour and lifetime prediction

The stress on displays and plastic components goes beyond abrasion and mechanical tests. In real-life use, components are also exposed to influences such as heat, UV radiation and chemical media. For this reason, these influences must also be tested. For this purpose, for example, weathering, media resistance or UV resistance tests are carried out directly according to various guidelines and standards. But time-lapse tests to predict the expected service life are also used or specially developed if necessary.

Time-rapid testing procedures and needs-based developments are also possible for this purpose.
